South Korean singer Seori has announced that her new single ‘Broken’ will be released on January 31st, marking her first release under Label Sayu. The cover art of the single shows the 27-year-old singer standing in a snow-covered clearing. ‘Broken’ will be a pre-release single that will potentially be followed by a full album. The artist’s last comeback was with ‘Can’t Stop This Party’ in March of 2022 and she has since been working on OSTs for K-dramas like Doona!, Tell Me That You Love Me, and Song of The Bandits.
Prior to her first official debut with her mini-album ‘?Depacse Ohw’, Seori made a name for herself on YouTube, having gained a small following releasing covers. The artist has since collaborated with boyband Tomorrow X Together and has released several digital singles including ‘Lovers in the Night’, ‘The Long Night’ featuring rapper Giriboy, ‘Dive With You’ with former Day6 singer eaJ, and ‘Warriors’ with 88rising’s Warren Hue.
Seori’s move to Label Sayu came in October 2023, three months after her departure from long-term label Warner Music Korea’s ATISPAUS. On a recent Instagram post, the singer shared the news with her followers stating, “To all my Seoros, I’m coming back. See you soon.”
Seori’s latest release will most likely be met with excited anticipation from fans, who have come to love her signature sound that blends pop, R&B, and indie music genres
