DJ and producer SHERELLE has unveiled plans for a budget-friendly UK and Europe tour, called ‘SHERELLELAND’. The theme of the tour will celebrate the sounds of jungle, drum & bass, and footwork. Independent venues will partner with SHERELLE to offer performances across the UK and Europe. Beginning on February 9 at The Carpet Shop in London, followed by stops in Amsterdam, Leeds, Manchester, and Edinburgh, the final performance is scheduled for February 24 at the Hasard Ludique in Paris. Fans can purchase tickets through the tour’s official website.
In an official statement, SHERELLE expressed concern with increasing ticket prices. She described her large-scale tour as “an idea I had whilst traveling and DJing last year” in honor of the shared experience among concert-goers. “Collectively as a community, we need to band together,” she stated. SHERELLE also hinted at a dual purpose for the tour, as she plans to “give them [ticket-holders] sh*t. They can walk away with something feeling like they had an actual experience.”
Further, SHERELLE emphasized her appreciation for the supportive venues involved on the tour. She noted, “Having all of them be so open and welcoming to the idea of a cheaper tour and seeing them do it for the love of the music and not money, is a really special thing. We all did try to make this as cheap as possible.” She has plans to integrate an interactive element to her concert performances, stating “I hope that with every show I do this year there will be an element of something I can give back to people”.
Recently, SHERELLE was announced as a performer for BBC 6’s Music Festival on March 7 at the O2 Victoria Warehouse in Manchester alongside Young Fathers and Hak Baker. With her innovative approach and contributions to the music industry, SHERELLE continues to inspire many fans and aspiring musicians
