Michael Bibi, Solid Grooves boss and DJ, is making his return with the announcement of his new “One Life” tour that is set to take place in Finsbury Park this summer, marking the artist’s homecoming comeback after undergoing treatment for cancer. The event is anticipated to be London’s largest-ever electronic show with a 45,000 strong crowd in attendance. Bibi announced the news via Instagram, expressing his love for London which he refers to as the city where he grew up and where he received schooling in electronic music. He also mentioned that the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity offered significant help in him beating cancer.
The One Life tour is being promoted as a global celebration of life, music and the triumph of the human spirit, where part of the proceeds will be donated to various charities, including The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity which helped Bibi in his treatment. Fans will be able to donate to the charity when purchasing tickets for the tour. Vicky Johnson, Associate Director of Public Fundraising and Engagement at The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, expressed her gratitude to Michael for generously supporting the charity.
Michael Bibi was diagnosed with (CNS) Lymphoma last year, which is a rare form of cancer affecting the central nervous system. He underwent intense treatment, and in December he revealed that he had been declared cancer-free. He made his return to the stage in October at the Solid Grooves closing party in Ibiza, where he ended the party with a surprise set.
Tickets for Michael Bibi’s One Life tour will go on sale on Friday, January 26 at 9 AM GMT, and fans can pre-register to grab their tickets
