Minecraft has recently collaborated with BBC Earth to release an all-new world that has been inspired by the third edition of the popular BBC series, Planet Earth. The game will enable gamers to explore the realms of the natural world and experience the struggles and victories of survival. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to play either as a great white shark or an Arctic wolf among others. This increases the level of excitement and raises the bar for gamers who have been looking for a high level of thrill and fun in video games.
This game will allow the players to understand the delicate balance between predator and prey, as they will be able to discover what it takes to survive in the wilderness and equally get hunted by other animals who also need to feed. Gamers will start from the Planet Earth 3 Field Station before selecting which biome they will interact with, and partaking in adventures designed specifically for animals residing in the biome chosen.
In a statement commenting about the new development, Planet Earth 3 producer Matt Brandon said “We are delighted to partner with Minecraft education and that children will have the opportunity to interact with stories inspired by the Planet Earth series through immersive gameplay”.
