British DJ Michael Bibi has announced his return to the decks with a new tour in 2024 after overcoming cancer last year. The tour, dubbed “One Life,” is still in its planning phase with no official dates announced. However, fans can sign up to pre-register for upcoming ticket sales. In June 2021, the DJ was diagnosed with Primary Central Nervous System lymphoma, a rare type of cancer that affects the brain and spinal cord. The illness forced Bibi to cancel his shows and focus on his treatment.
As a former Mixmag cover star with a history of selling out large venues worldwide, Bibi’s diagnosis was met with an outpouring of support from fans and peers in the music industry alike. Despite the insurmountable challenge ahead, Bibi shared his determination and unwavering spirit via social media, “I don’t know what lies ahead, I’m tired, but I know I am strong, and I won’t let this beat me.”
After undergoing more than 100 days of treatment, Bibi made an emotional comeback at the Solid Grooves closing party in Ibiza. His surprise set there marked his return to the music scene, and the world celebrated when Bibi shared that he had beaten cancer only six months after his initial diagnosis. Bibi’s final stages of treatment began in November, and despite facing some of the most significant challenges of his life, he remained resolute about staying cancer-free.
As a central figure in electronic music, Bibi has proven himself as a pillar in the industry. “Solid Grooves” is one of his most successful projects, alongside his other label work and event hosting. Bibi’s “One Life” tour is highly anticipated as it marks a significant milestone in his life and career. Fans eagerly await more announcements regarding the tour, hoping for more of his unique, high-energy performances
