A new stage called APEX will be launched by Creamfields festival in 2024, which has been hailed as the “largest festival structure in the world”. The 30,000 capacity space will extend the main stage’s opening until 4:AM on Saturday for the first time, showcasing a range of dance music acts. The arena will include acts from Teletech and techno promoters XXL, but performers have yet to be revealed.
Creamfields explained that the APEX is a “brand-new addition to the festival landscape” and will offer an “epic immersive experience”. Moreover, it is shielded from the elements. The festival will take place on its usual site in Daresbury, Cheshire over the August Bank Holiday next year. The dance music festival was first launched in 1998 by the club promoter Cream in Winchester before relocating to Liverpool and finally settling on its current site in 2006.
Last year saw the likes of Calvin Harris, Carl Cox, Hannah Laing, Swedish House Mafia, and Fatboy Slim in the festival. Check out what to expect at APEX in the link provided.
