I'm A Celebrity: Nella Rose eliminated from jungle

Nella Rose, the internet personality, has become the second celebrity to leave I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! after receiving the fewest public votes. Her departure came after 17 days in the jungle, which were marked by run-ins with politician Nigel Farage and First Dates star Fred Siriex. In a post-elimination interview, Rose said that “everything is a big thing” in the jungle due to heightened emotions.

Rose explained to hosts Ant and Dec that Siriex brought up a sensitive topic during a disagreement. The argument, in which he remarked that he could be her father, offended her because her father passed away in 2020. Siriex’s comment and the subsequent argument drew 861 Ofcom complaints, but Rose stated that it may have been a misunderstanding.

Farage, who has previously led UKIP and the Brexit Party, also found himself at odds with Rose over his views on immigration. Despite her clash with him, Rose referred to Farage as “an amazing person,” but expressed confusion over his beliefs. Rose has yet to address the online abuse she faced while on the show.

Rose’s time in the jungle followed the departures of restaurant critic Grace Dent and Jamie Lynn Spears, sister of Britney Spears, due to medical reasons. Jockey Frankie Dettori also left the show on Sunday
