John Digweed, owner of Bedrock Records, has released his latest album entitled ‘Futuro’. The album features 25 tracks of acid house with contributions from names including David Morales, Rodriguez Jr, and Marco Bailey, which were curated, compiled, and mixed by Digweed himself. He said he is proud of this album, which includes various music styles such as ambient, house, breaks, and techno, among others. The album’s opener, ‘FuturaScent Intro’, sets the atmosphere, and the lead single, ‘Lectrobee’ from Bushwacka, stands out due to its breakbeat-fuelled rhythms.
The album follows Digweed’s recent EP, ‘Tripchain / Scanalatura’, with Frankie Wah and Nick Muir. Additionally, this year he celebrates 25 years of his Bedrock imprint, which was marked with a day party at XOYO London in the last month.
John Digweed is a globally recognized DJ and producer with a career of over three decades. He has performed in major clubs and festivals across the world and is known for his pioneering role in UK clubbing and electronic music scenes. Last year he talked about the impact of the pandemic on the music industry and his desire to see clubs reopen but not at the expense of rushing.
‘Futuro’ is out now and is available for purchase on Bedrockshop.com. John Digweed hopes his fans enjoy this musical journey.
