Caroline Flack’s brother never recovered, inquest hears

The recent inquest into the death of Paul Flack, brother of TV presenter Caroline Flack, revealed that he took his own life, struggling profoundly after the loss of his sister. Paul Flack, aged 55, was discovered unresponsive in his Norwich home on June 21 and later passed away in hospital.

Caroline Flack, best known for hosting shows like Love Island and The X Factor, was found dead at her home in Stoke Newington, east London, on February 15, 2020.

Reflecting on the period following her death, his partner commented, “We then went into lockdown for Covid,” and added, “I do not think Paul ever recovered from this.” Earlier investigations had confirmed that Caroline Flack died by suicide at age 40, troubled by fears of media intrusion prior to her assault trial
