Having shared her own journey with cancer, Catherine announced in January 2025 that she was in remission. Funds raised through her mountain climbing endeavors are now dedicated to The Centre for Holistic Wellbeing and Recovery. This initiative aims to support cancer patients by promoting recovery that extends beyond physical healing, focusing also on emotional, spiritual, and social aspects of wellbeing.
