Catherine sees how her charity climb funds are helping hospital

On Friday morning, Catherine spent time at a hospital where she engaged with medical professionals and spoke with patients undergoing treatment for various cancers, including breast cancer, head and neck cancer, as well as brain tumours. During her visit, she took the opportunity to connect personally with those receiving care.

Having shared her own journey with cancer, Catherine announced in January 2025 that she was in remission. Her experience has deepened her empathy, motivating her to support others facing similar battles. Reflecting on this, she previously expressed how a cancer diagnosis and its aftermath profoundly affect not only patients but their families as well.

Funds raised through her mountain climbing endeavors are now dedicated to The Centre for Holistic Wellbeing and Recovery. This initiative aims to support cancer patients by promoting recovery that extends beyond physical healing, focusing also on emotional, spiritual, and social aspects of wellbeing.

This hospital visit in London came shortly after Catherine accompanied her husband on Thursday to Liverpool, where they supported the launch of a suicide prevention project
