A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a man who suffered a dog bite while walking along a footpath in West Yorkshire. The incident occurred around 13:30 BST on Saturday on a disused railway line near Blacker Lane in Calder Grove, Wakefield. The 55-year-old victim was rushed to the hospital in critical condition but sadly passed away shortly after 19:00.
West Yorkshire Police are seeking the assistance of two individuals who stopped to help the injured man, including a woman named Sophie. Authorities have asked these people to come forward to aid in the ongoing inquiries.
