Victim of fatal Clapham shooting named as Auguste-Marie Bile-aka Amoa

Police have identified the man who was fatally shot in south-west London as Auguste-Marie Bile, also known as Amoa. The incident occurred near The Landor pub on Willington Road, Clapham, where police and paramedics responded to reports of gunfire just before 10:00 pm on Monday.

The victim, aged 25 and employed as a bus driver, was declared dead at the scene, according to the Metropolitan Police. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are currently the subject of an ongoing investigation.

On the following day, a 22-year-old male was apprehended on suspicion of murder after he arrived at a hospital with a gunshot injury. He is currently receiving treatment and is being held under police supervision while authorities continue their inquiries.
