For the past week, visitors have been fully engaged in a variety of activities including live music performances, hands-on workshops, dance lessons, and pop-up pubs scattered throughout the event. The festival’s final day promises to be equally exciting, featuring a lineup of performances at Belfast City Hall.
Among the artists appearing on the last day are Áirdan, Seoid, Celtic Roots, and others. The closing ceremony is scheduled to begin at 6:00 pm BST with a set by singer-songwriter and harpist Niamh Noade. Festivities will continue until midnight, ending with a performance by the winners of the Senior Céilí Band Competition.
Beyond the venues at City Hall, the city center will host diverse activities including an exhibition at the Seamus Heaney Centre at Queen’s University Belfast. The display, titled Something to Say, highlights the friendship and collaboration between Seamus Heaney and David Hammond. Additionally, an Irish language craft and culture market is open at Conway Mill, alongside numerous sessions featuring workshops and arts activities throughout the city
