Girl, 11, found dead after search at Midlothian beauty spot

Later that afternoon, around 4:25 p.m., authorities found the girl’s body in Gore Water close to Shank Bridge, a spot within the park. Emergency responders declared her dead at the scene. The circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear.
