Ariana Grande has decided to step away from public engagements and will no longer participate in an upcoming London stage production following the conclusion of her Eternal Sunshine tour next month. A spokesperson for the 33-year-old American singer shared with People magazine that she plans to reduce her public visibility after facing relentless scrutiny throughout her recent appearances.

Empire Street Productions, the company producing the musical, confirmed to the BBC that the show will continue without Grande. They acknowledged the difficulty of her decision but extended their full support and best wishes. No replacement has been announced at this time for the West End revival of this Pulitzer Prize–winning musical. Additionally, the BBC has reached out to Grande’s representatives for further comment.
