Milford Haven pupil who 'stabbed' teacher took knife to school as part of a 'game'

Dressed in a light blue shirt paired with navy trousers, the teenager took the witness stand and explained to the jury that he and his friends had been experimenting by bringing various random household items to school to test what they could get away with.

When questioned about why he selected the largest knife from his home’s knife block, he responded that he wanted to bring the most impressive knife to show to his friends. His defence lawyer then asked whether he intended for teachers to find the knife, to which he replied, “no.”

Further questioning addressed whether the defendant had any intentions to use the knife violently or to purposely harm Williams. He firmly denied these accusations. Swansea Crown Court was informed that the boy had chosen to pursue history as a subject and insisted there were no bad feelings between him and Williams.

Additionally, the defendant denied any arguments or falling out with the teacher. At the time of the incident, the teenager was 15 years old and described Williams as a “good” teacher. The trial is ongoing
