Markethill: Man dead after crash between motorcycle and lorry

A fatal accident involving two vehicles occurred in Markethill, County Armagh, resulting in the death of a man. The crash took place on the Coolmillish Road and involved a motorcycle and a lorry. Authorities were alerted to the incident at approximately 11:40 BST on Friday.

Emergency responders, including paramedics and firefighters, attended the scene promptly. Despite their efforts, the motorcyclist was declared dead at the location, according to Detective Inspector Stewart of the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI).

Following the collision, the Coolmillish Road was temporarily closed to allow emergency services to carry out their work. The road has since been reopened to traffic.

The PSNI has indicated that investigations into the circumstances of the crash are still underway. They have also urged anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward and provide information to assist with their inquiries
