Officials at a Nottinghamshire skydiving centre have expressed their profound sorrow following the death of an experienced skydiver in an accident near Langar Airfield. Emergency responders were dispatched to the location at 12:13 BST on Sunday after the incident was reported.
A 22-year-old woman was discovered in a nearby field and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Nottinghamshire Police. The skydiving centre, Skydive Langar, released a statement expressing their deepest condolences and support for the deceased’s family, friends, and the entire skydiving community, describing it as an incredibly difficult time.
