Several renowned celebrities have recently been seen in Wales, captivating local residents as they film a new movie. Among those spotted were Hollywood director Quentin Tarantino and Australian pop star Kylie Minogue, who appeared together in Cardiff and were also seen in the coastal town of Porthcawl. Additionally, American rapper and actor RZA was noticed enjoying a meal in Cardiff, delighting fans.

These high-profile figures are reportedly part of the cast for the upcoming drama *Tangled Up in Blue*, which is directed by Welsh filmmaker Jamie Adams. Tarantino, known for classics like *Pulp Fiction* and *Kill Bill*, is said to portray a wealthy benefactor in the story, which is both set and filmed in Wales. The film’s title takes inspiration from Bob Dylan’s song featured on his 1975 album *Blood on the Tracks*. Along with Tarantino, Minogue, and RZA, the cast includes actors Jason Isaacs and Sofia Boutella, as well as Welsh talents such as Julian Lewis Jones, Craig Russell, Siwan Morris, and Karen Paullada.

During filming, Tarantino and Minogue were noticed at locations including Newton Church and Saltwater Inn in Porthcawl. On 19 June, Tarantino surprised guests while enjoying a drink at Cardiff’s Parkgate Hotel, where Helen Harvey from Swindon happened upon him reading and seized the chance to express her admiration. She recalled, “I went back to my group and said ‘there’s a bloke in there who looks like Quentin Tarantino.’” Harvey described him as “gracious and charming,” appreciating his kindness despite interrupting his reading time.

Elsewhere in Cardiff, RZA was photographed outside a Japanese ramen bar, much to the delight of a fan who shared the encounter on social media, noting their unexpected meeting with the legendary Wu-Tang Clan member. Meanwhile, Tarantino, who recently moved to the UK, is preparing for his theatrical debut with *The Popinjay Cavalier*, a swashbuckling comedy set in 1830s Europe scheduled for 2027. Kylie Minogue, whose family originally came from Maesteg in Wales before migrating to Australia, frequently expresses a special connection to Wales and has mentioned her fondness for performing in Cardiff, even incorporating some Welsh phrases into her performances
