Nicola Roberts, known for being a member of the pop group Girls Aloud, has revealed the arrival of her first child. The 40-year-old singer shared the happy news on social media, announcing that her daughter was born a few weeks ago at 38 weeks and is doing well. She described her baby as “healthy and content” and said both mother and child are thriving.
Images posted on Roberts’ Instagram show tender moments with her newborn resting on her chest, while her partner Mitch Hahn is seen carrying the baby in a car seat. Reflecting on the experience, Nicola expressed her joy by saying, “It’s heaven on earth with her and we can hardly believe she’s ours.”
Fans and fellow celebrities joined in celebrating the new arrival. Among those congratulating the couple in the comments were singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor, presenters AJ Odudu and Katie Piper, as well as actress Michelle Keegan. Mitch Hahn, Nicola’s partner, is a former non-league footballer.
Girls Aloud, the group that launched on the reality show Popstars: The Rivals in 2002, recently reunited for their first arena tour in over a decade, performing across the UK and Ireland in 2024. Over their career, the band produced five studio albums and earned a BRIT Award in 2009.
