Ken Harwood, known for his appearances on the television show Gogglebox, has passed away after a brief illness. Ken starred alongside his wife Anne, with whom he shared 55 years of marriage, providing viewers with memorable moments in their living room setting.

Studio Lambert, the production company behind Gogglebox on Channel 4, announced that Ken died last week at the age of 77. He lived in Consett, County Durham, and was a familiar face to fans during his time on the show from series 15 through 19. The company expressed condolences to his family and friends, emphasizing how much he will be missed.

A spokesperson from Studio Lambert said, “He will be dearly missed by his wife Anne, sons Simon and Ross, daughter-in-law, Elle, grandchildren Freya and Tristram, and all who knew him.” In honor of Ken’s contribution to the show and the affection audiences had for him, a tribute will be included at the end of the upcoming episode airing on Channel 4.
