This particular instrument, an Epiphone EJ-200, was used by Gallagher during the recording sessions for the band’s iconic second album, (What’s the Story) Morning Glory. The album, released in 1995, includes some of Oasis’s most beloved tracks, such as “Wonderwall,” “Champagne Supernova,” “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” and “Some Might Say.”

The 1995 release has achieved remarkable commercial success, selling over 22 million copies worldwide. The guitar itself was estimated to sell for around $80,000 (£59,500) before it was auctioned by Sotheby’s, indicating that it exceeded expectations in its final sale price.
