In Surrey, a woman in her twenties has been sexually assaulted by multiple men after leaving a nightclub, according to police reports. The victim was followed after departing from the Labyrinth Epsom nightclub and was attacked between 2:00 and 4:00 a.m. on Saturday.
The assault is reported to have taken place near Epsom Methodist Church, located on Ashley Road in Epsom. Authorities are currently investigating the incident and have not yet obtained complete descriptions of the suspects involved.
Detective Inspector Aine Matthews commented on the case, stating: “We understand this is an extremely distressing incident and the victim is being supported by specialist officers.” She emphasized that the investigation is still in its initial phase and that officers are actively working to gather more information about the perpetrators.
Police are appealing to the public for assistance and have requested that anyone who was in the vicinity between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. and may have seen or interacted with the woman in distress come forward.
