Authorities in County Antrim have charged a man after a security incident in Glenarm. The incident involved the discovery of a viable device in the Feystown Road area on Monday.
The individual, aged 43, faces charges for conducting an act with the intent to cause an explosion that could seriously endanger life or damage property. He is also charged with obstructing police. His court appearance is scheduled for later on Wednesday at Coleraine Magistrates’ Court.
In connection with the investigation, another man, 47 years old, was arrested but has since been released by police. The police continue to handle the case following these developments.
