A lottery ticket purchased in the UK has secured the enormous £181 million EuroMillions jackpot announced on Tuesday, according to the National Lottery operator. The fortunate player correctly guessed all five main numbers—12, 14, 27, 44, and 50—alongside both Lucky Star numbers, 04 and 12, claiming the grand prize in full.
This monumental prize, totalling £181,073,415.70, ranks as the third-largest jackpot in the history of the UK National Lottery, as reported by Allwyn, the official operator. Andy Carter, a senior advisor for winners, described the win as truly transformative, encouraging all ticket holders to double-check their numbers. “Anyone who bought a ticket should take a moment to check it carefully – you could be the winner we’re looking for,” he said.
Carter also highlighted the scale of the wealth this jackpot would bring to the winner, comparing it to the fortune of well-known personalities. “With that size fortune, this lucky winner would have wealth on a par with the likes of Adele (worth an estimated £170 million).
