Glasgow Central Station, Scotland’s busiest railway hub, remains closed following a significant fire that severely damaged an adjacent historic building. The blaze began in a vape shop located on Union Street and quickly spread through the attached Victorian-era structure, known as the Union Corner building, which is B-listed due to its historical importance. The fire caused extensive destruction, and the remaining facade of the building is currently experiencing ongoing and uncontrolled collapse, according to Glasgow City Council.
