Armed officers detained a man in Leicester after he was spotted carrying a samurai sword along a public street. The incident took place on Aylestone Road, near Saffron Lane, where multiple reports of suspicious behavior prompted police to respond quickly.

Leicestershire Police received calls at approximately 10:20 GMT on Saturday about the individual’s unusual conduct. When officers arrived at the scene, they found the man walking down the main road holding the sword. Fortunately, the incident did not result in any injuries.
