To celebrate Valentine’s Day, the Prince and Princess of Wales have shared a never-before-seen photograph. This black and white image features Prince William alongside Princess Catherine and was captured by photographer Josh Shinner in Anmer, Norfolk, during April of last year.
Published on their official social media accounts on 14 February, the photo came with a simple caption: “Happy Valentine’s Day” accompanied by a heart emoji. This marks the second consecutive year the royal couple has recognized the occasion in a public way, having shared a similar photo in 2025. The previous image depicted the princess smiling as the prince gently kissed her cheek.
In addition to these Valentine’s Day moments, the couple’s 2025 Christmas card included a family portrait. In this photo, William and Catherine are seated on green grass surrounded by blooming daffodils with their children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—joining them.
