A man was successfully rescued after falling approximately 30 feet (9 meters) into a well located in Cheadle, Staffordshire. The incident prompted emergency services to respond quickly to the scene on High Street, which remains closed off to the public while the situation is being managed.
Staffordshire Police received the initial call regarding the fall at 08:37 GMT and immediately dispatched officers to assist. Alongside the police, the West Midlands Ambulance Service attended the scene to provide necessary medical support.
