Two teenagers have been formally charged in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 15-year-old boy in Guildford. The incident took place in woodland near Stoke Park, off Lido Road, where police responded to reports of a stabbing at 18:10 GMT on Monday. Following the investigation, two boys aged 15 and 16 were arrested.
The individuals, whose names are not being disclosed due to their ages, face charges not only of murder but also of conspiracy to rob and possession of a bladed weapon. Surrey Police confirmed that both teenagers are scheduled to appear at Guildford Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
The victim, who died at the scene, has been identified by authorities as Luis Gabriel Guembes. Police have appealed to the public for any information that might assist with their ongoing inquiries into the stabbing.
