Authorities have initiated a murder inquiry following the discovery of a deceased woman at a residence in Greater Manchester. The incident took place in a flat on Kempston Gardens, Bolton, where police arrived at approximately 10:00 GMT to find the woman unresponsive.
Emergency personnel attempted to revive her by performing CPR, but she was declared dead shortly thereafter. In connection with the case, a 33-year-old man has been detained on suspicion of murder and is currently undergoing questioning.
Detective Inspector Louise Kelly, representing Greater Manchester Police, emphasized that their immediate focus is on identifying the woman and notifying her family promptly. She confirmed that the area remains cordoned off as the investigation continues to uncover the events leading to this tragic outcome.
