The Duke of Sussex is set to appear in the High Court in London on Thursday to provide testimony in a legal dispute involving the Daily Mail’s publishers. This hearing is a part of an ongoing privacy lawsuit that he is pursuing alongside six other plaintiffs, which includes Sir Elton John.
The group is taking legal action against Associated Newspapers Limited, accusing the company of engaging in unlawful practices over a number of years. These allegations form the basis of their claim for breaches of privacy.
In response, Associated Newspapers Limited has firmly rejected the accusations, describing them as both sensational and absurd. They maintain their stance against the claims brought forward by the plaintiffs.
The full court proceedings are scheduled to commence on Monday and are anticipated to continue for approximately nine weeks
