The discounted shirts were made available at two locations: CBS Arena and Broadgate Square. These pop-up shops were set up in anticipation of the upcoming Sky Blues match against Leicester City, which was due to take place at the CBS Arena later that day. By mid-morning, the city centre stand had already attracted a significant number of eager supporters.

Ahead of the Broadgate Square pop-up opening, some fans had been waiting for over an hour in chilly conditions. The store was managed by Monzo, an online bank, and many of those waiting took to social media to share humorous remarks, suggesting they might still be queuing even as the match kicked off at midday.
