Crumlin: Woman dies following two-car collision

A tragic road accident took place on Sunday in County Antrim, resulting in the death of a woman. The collision happened shortly after 2:00 p.m. GMT on Moira Road in Crumlin, involving a blue Ford Fiesta and a silver Skoda Superb. The woman, who was in her 30s, later succumbed to her injuries in hospital.

Alongside her, a man also in his 30s and occupying the same vehicle, was critically hurt in the crash. In addition to these two, six other individuals suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident.

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) responded promptly, sending six ambulances and an air ambulance to the location. Following their efforts, four people were transported by ambulance to Antrim Area Hospital, while the remaining four, including one airlifted by the air ambulance, were taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital.
