Liverpool twins quit jobs to focus on truth-or-dare series

From an early age, Liverpool-born twins Louise and Lyndsey Scott delighted in playing pranks on their family members. Now 26 years old, the siblings have transformed their love for practical jokes into a full-time career. Over the past year, the duo has been sharing truth-or-dare challenges online, which has enabled them to leave their hospitality jobs behind and focus entirely on their creative content.

Lyndsey described their success as “amazing and the best thing ever,” expressing excitement about dedicating all their time to their new venture. Louise reflected on their lifelong mischievous nature, saying, “We’ve always been pranksters.” The twins have consistently enjoyed encouraging fun challenges and prank calls, inspired by their childhood fascination with entertainers Ant and Dec, which fueled their ambition to enter the entertainment industry.

Their journey into content creation began when they were just nine years old, recording a show called The Twin Show from a blow-up couch in their bedroom. Although they dreamed of working in television, breaking into the industry felt out of reach. “We had no idea how to even get into TV or presenting,” Lyndsey admitted, citing financial constraints and full-time work commitments as major obstacles.

Motivated by content creator Amelia Dimoldenberg, the sisters decided to produce videos on social media platforms. They launched a series titled Truth or Dare, originally challenging random strangers with daring tasks. Over time, the format evolved to include celebrity appearances. Today, their Instagram and TikTok accounts, @lyndseyandlouise, boast more than 28 million views. Louise summed up their approach by saying, “Our aim in life is to always have fun, so why not encourage strangers to do that!
