The police have released new video evidence outlining the sequence of events involving Paul Doyle’s movements leading up to the parade in Liverpool. This parade ended in tragedy when Doyle drove into a crowd of people celebrating.
Additionally, the BBC secured exclusive footage from a neighbor showing Doyle as he left his home. Complementing this is dashcam footage from Doyle’s own vehicle, capturing his route towards Dale Street, the location where the collision took place.
Paul Doyle, a married father of three, had initially been traveling into the city center to pick up friends from the parade. However, during the journey, he “lost his temper” and intentionally drove his Ford Galaxy into the crowd of Liverpool FC supporters who were returning from the Premier League title celebrations.
Following the incident, Doyle pleaded guilty to 31 charges and was subsequently sentenced to a prison term of 21 years and six months
