Chris Martin gives surprise wedding performance

Chris Martin, lead vocalist of Coldplay, unexpectedly appeared at a wedding to perform the couple’s first dance song live. The bride and groom, Abbie and James Hotchkiss from Stafford, had originally requested a video message from the singer through the groom’s mother. However, Martin chose to surprise everyone by attending in person, with only the newlyweds and the parents of the groom aware of the plan.

The ceremony took place at Blithfield Lakeside Barns in Staffordshire, where guests were amazed when Martin entered the venue wearing a white beanie and played “All My Love” on the piano as the couple danced. According to Mrs. Hotchkiss, many attendees took some time to realize it was indeed Chris Martin, but refrained from interrupting the occasion, opting to ask the couple about it only after the performance concluded.

One of the venue’s owners, Alexander Brown, expressed his joy for the newlyweds, saying, “I’m very happy for the couple. It made their special day extra special, I couldn’t quite believe it.” He also revealed that Martin’s team arrived several hours before the event to ensure the piano was perfectly tuned for the performance.

Martin reportedly traveled to the venue by helicopter to deliver this unique and memorable moment, adding an unforgettable touch to the wedding celebration
