Two young men, both aged 18, have been formally charged with offenses related to terrorism. Rhys Edwards and Talan Vincent, who are from Cardiff in South Wales, face allegations of preparing acts intended to support terrorism, according to Counter Terrorism Policing Wales (CTPW).
The accused appeared separately at Westminster Magistrates Court, with Mr. Edwards attending on Friday, 21 November, and Mr. Vincent on Saturday, 22 November. Following their hearings, both individuals were remanded in custody. Their next scheduled court appearance is at the Central Criminal Court on the upcoming Friday.
These charges come after police made arrests on the 20th and 21st of November, as confirmed by a spokesperson for CTPW. The investigation continues, and authorities are handling the case as part of their ongoing efforts to combat terrorism.
