Tragically, a house fire in County Offaly has claimed the lives of a young boy and a 60-year-old woman. The incident took place in a residential property located in Castleview Park, Edenderry, at approximately 7:45 pm local time on Saturday.
Authorities from the Gardaí have confirmed the details surrounding the fire. In addition to the two fatalities, a woman in her 50s sustained severe injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment in hospital.
