Upon arrival at Heathrow Airport, the Prince and Princess of Wales greeted Frank-Walter Steinmeier, setting a warm tone for the visit. Later, King Charles hosted a lavish state banquet at Windsor Castle, adorned with festive Christmas decorations, to honor the German President and his spouse.
During the banquet, King Charles addressed the attendees, delivering his speech in both English and German. He extended a warm welcome not only to President Steinmeier and his wife but also to the 150 guests present, which included the UK Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer.
