In the early hours of Tuesday morning, a brazen group of thieves pulled off a daring heist at Clayden & Co jewellers in Bognor Regis. The criminals struck at around 2:15 AM, swiftly making off with a haul of jewellery valued at thousands of pounds. The owner of the shop, Roger Clayden, was left reeling as the thieves smashed through shutters and display cabinets, completing the entire operation in under four minutes.
The audacious raid saw the culprits gain entry to The Arcade from the High Street, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. Insp David Bulger revealed that the entrance on Belmont Street also suffered significant damage as a result of the break-in.
