Expressing profound sorrow at the loss, she emphasized Broadhurst’s invaluable contributions to their team and the local community. The Home Office disclosed that the suspect arrived in the UK in a lorry in late 2020, was granted asylum, and holds the right to reside in the country.

As the investigation unfolds, residents have come together to pay tribute to the victim, laying flowers and lighting candles at the scene of the attack.
