In a tragic incident in west London, one individual has tragically passed away while another has sustained serious injuries following a triple stabbing. The Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service responded to the scene at Midhurst Gardens, Uxbridge, at 17:00 GMT on Monday after receiving reports of three individuals being attacked.
Paramedics tried to save the 49-year-old victim, who had suffered stab wounds, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The second victim, a 45-year-old individual, was rushed to the hospital with life-altering injuries. Additionally, a 14-year-old boy was also taken to the hospital for treatment of knife wounds, as per the authorities.
A 22-year-old Afghan national was apprehended at the scene by police after being Tasered. He was arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder and subsequently taken to the hospital for precautionary measures before being placed in police custody. The family of the deceased individual has been informed of the tragic news and is being provided with support from specially-trained officers during this difficult time.
