Nottinghamshire Police have charged a man with murder in connection with the death of 23-year-old Stephanie Irons. Irons was found dead at an address in Mapperley after emergency services responded to a call at 22:07 BST on Tuesday. Police believe that Irons and the suspect were acquainted with each other.
Adedapo Adegbola, a 40-year-old resident of Mapperley, was arrested on Wednesday and formally charged with murder on Friday. He appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Saturday after being remanded into custody. Additionally, a 40-year-old woman who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released under strict bail conditions, according to Nottinghamshire Police.
