The tragic death of a man who was fatally stabbed in south-east London has left his family devastated. Sanchini Thompson, described as a “devoted father” and a “pillar of kindness”, passed away after being found with stab wounds in Rushey Green, Catford, at around 03:00 BST on Wednesday. The Metropolitan Police revealed that Mr Thompson died from a stab wound to the chest, and as of now, no arrests have been made in connection to the incident.
According to a written statement from his family, Mr Thompson was a loving father to his four-year-old daughter who dedicated himself to bringing joy to others. Described as someone who always prioritized the happiness and wellbeing of those around him, Mr Thompson’s presence brightened every room he entered. His family’s hearts are heavy as they remember him, as they pay tribute to a son, father, and cherished friend who will be deeply missed.
His family also highlighted Mr Thompson’s boundless generosity and compassion towards friends, neighbors, and even strangers. They expressed their gratitude for his kindness and the impact he had on their lives, emphasizing that while he will be deeply missed, his spirit will live on in the love he shared and the memories they hold dear.
