Klevi Shekaj and Leo Reid: Mothers' pain over their murders

The murder trial for the deaths of Klevi Shekaj and Leonardo Reid took a disturbing turn as the defendants treated the proceedings as a game. The defendants’ lack of remorse and disrespectful behavior further deepened the families’ suffering.

Valbona Shekaj described her son Klevi as an extraordinary individual, full of kindness and potential. She recounted the devastating moment when she received the news of his tragic death and highlighted the bond she shared with him. The court heard how the defendants, described as “smirking” killers, carried out the fatal attack at the music video shoot, causing irreparable harm to the victims and their families.

Despite the heinous nature of the crimes, the defendants continued to display a lack of remorse in court, further tormenting the bereaved families.
