The derogatory term directed at her left her feeling “shaken” and “heartbroken,” prompting her to call the British Transport Police (BTP) while aboard the train to Maidenhead from Paddington. The Transport for London (TfL) expressed regret over the lack of assistance provided to Choudry during the distressing ordeal and acknowledged the ongoing investigation.

The incident, captured on video by Choudry and later shared on TikTok, garnered significant attention with millions of views. The children, upon realizing they were being filmed, attempted to conceal their identities, while other passengers reprimanded Choudry for recording the event. Despite activating the passenger alarm and contacting the authorities, the children managed to flee the scene once the train reached Hayes and Harlington station, in west London.

Reflecting on the experience, Choudry expressed shock not only at the children’s behavior but also at the indifference displayed by some of the adult passengers on the train.
