In a tragic turn of events, a 67-year-old man has passed away after being assaulted in Balham High Road last month. Following this incident, a man and a woman have been taken into custody by the Metropolitan Police in south London.
The victim was attacked at around 15:40 BST on 24 August and was immediately transported to the hospital, where he sadly succumbed to his injuries on Friday. The family of the deceased are currently receiving support from specialized officers during this difficult time.
Law enforcement officials have arrested a 37-year-old man on suspicion of murder, as well as a 30-year-old woman on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder in connection with this incident.
