During the proceedings at the High Court in Glasgow, Hood admitted to causing serious injury to a total of six people due to dangerous driving. It was revealed that Hood, who had an expired license at the time of the crash, fled the scene before being found outside a pub. Despite his reckless actions, Hood callously remarked to the police that “These things happen, mate,” showing a lack of remorse for the harm caused.
