Oasis: Probe after 'hundreds' sneak into Wembley Stadium concert

Authorities at Wembley Stadium have launched an investigation into allegations that hundreds of Oasis fans managed to gain entry to a concert without a valid ticket. The Manchester-based band had been performing at the venue as part of their Live 25 tour. According to reports from The Sun, around 200 individuals were reportedly charged £350 each to enter one of the gigs through a disabled access point.

The Sun detailed how a significant number of attendees were able to utilize a duplicated ticket to gain admission to the stadium. Once inside, they were provided with wristbands that allowed them access to the VIP section in front of the stage. Allegedly, two women were in charge of orchestrating the scheme, coordinating with multiple groups of individuals to bypass security measures at the event.

One concertgoer shared their experience with The Sun, recounting how they were instructed to gather at a designated entrance with identical tickets and have a specific marking drawn on their hands. Despite discrepancies between the ticket’s entrance location and the actual point of entry, security checks were reportedly minimal, and attendees were able to enter without difficulty.

In response to these reports, a spokesperson for Wembley Stadium issued a statement emphasizing the seriousness of entering the premises without a valid ticket. They affirmed that an investigation was underway, with the possibility of involving law enforcement if the claims are verified. The concert series at Wembley marked an iconic reunion for brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, who last performed together at the venue in 2009 during the Dig Out Your Soul tour. Following their shows in Edinburgh and Dublin, Oasis is set to continue their tour across various continents in the coming months, culminating in a highly anticipated reunion tour announced in August of last year, marking 16 years since their acrimonious split in 2009
